Teabag Selection (ティーバッグセレクション)
For those who wish for the convenience of a teabag format, or wanting to sample various teas before purchasing a larger quantity, we offer tea bags of popular teas. One bag includes 14 large tea bags of 5g of tea each which can be re-brewed at least 3 times like our loose leaf teas, or throw one or two bags into a pitcher to cold brew in the refrigerator. As we prefer to avoid microplastics in our food supply and environment, our teabags are not made from petroleum-based nylon/plastics as many pyramidal tea bags are, but rather a plant-based PLA which is a fermented renewable corn-based biomass. As a result, it is fully compostable but won’t affect the tea taste. Please see the corresponding loose leaf tea descriptions for brewing guidelines.
